Contex has announced a new wide-format scanning solution for the EDM/ECM market that features EMC Captiva ISIS drivers. Contex uses All-Digital cameras with advanced point-of-origin capture and onboard digital conversion ensuring minimum noise and an extended dynamic range. The unique four-linear CCD technology, with a special panchromatic line, ensures that no colors are lost when scanning monochrome.
If this is a new scanner, the Nextimage key is provided to you by your reseller. Please contact the reseller where you purchased the scanner to obtain the key.
(IMPORTANT: Notice that the Nextimage Product Key to activate you Nextimage software needs to be purchased as an added product when you purchase a Contex scanner. Make sure that your Nextimage product is clearly specified in your order/invoice.)
If you have an existing installation and are required to re-install Nextimage on a new PC due to computer failure, then the software key is typically provided to you in a PDF file from the reseller (we suggest for you to check your email records) or it may be located on rear of the CD case provided in case is was sold as a hardcopy.

Shadows are normally unwanted when scanning originals with folds and other shapes. The iFLEX scanner has ultra-bright LED light that best emulates natural light in a flatbed design and eliminates unwanted shadows in your originals. When scanning shapes, like brail, carvings or plants, the light source is carefully designed to capture the shadows that make up the shapes of the objects. We call this Natural Light.
